Description
The purpose of this role is to prospect and maximise revenue opportunities from new business clients, through the sales of new applications and services. From time to time may be asked to handle existing customers but the predominant role function will be to identify and prospect new business customers.
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Working within a Team environment
  • Develop profitable sales and achieve annual sales target
  • To maximise sales though the presentation of effective cost benefit proposals and other techniques to promote LifeWorks solutions.
  • To own the proposal/tendering processes
  • Develop a good understanding of prospect organisations both in terms of decision making structure and also strategic and business aims
  • To maintain accurate prospect & opportunity records within our company CRM system
  • To become the focal point for all prospect activity
  • To ensure that only approved solutions & prices are presented formally to the customer
  • Have extensive understanding of all LifeWorks proposition offerings
  • Being able to communicate through multi-level relationships into prospects and clients
ROLE DIMENSIONS

Key Success Criteria:
  • Meet sales targets in line with agreement with Business Manager
  • Build robust multi-level relationships within prospect clients
  • To understand our clients, LifeWorks services and become a real business partner through offering HR solutions that drives our clients business forward
KNOWLEDGE, TECHNICAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
 
Required:
  • 1-2 years experience in new business sales (SME Level) – MUST BE PREPARED TO DEMONSTRATE PREVIOUS YEARS RESULTS/EARNINGS
  • 3-5 years experience in new business sales (Mid Market) - MUST BE PREPARED TO DEMONSTRATE PREVIOUS YEARS RESULTS/EARNINGS
  • 5+ years experience in new business sales (Enterprise) - MUST BE PREPARED TO DEMONSTRATE PREVIOUS YEARS RESULTS/EARNINGS
  • Knowledge of controlling a sales cycle
  • Experience of successfully building and maintaining meaningful relationships
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Good IT skills and knowledge 
Desirable:
  • Educated to degree level
  • Experience of consultative selling appropriate business solutions, HR Systems and Business Software Applications
