The role

As a Specialized Support Counsellor, you will offer single session and multi session counselling to individuals by phone, video or through chat counselling. Working with diverse populations, you will be supporting a broad range of clinical issues including parenting, relationships, workplace stress, emotional wellbeing, and individual crisis.

You will use your expertise, knowledge and skills to conduct a brief assessment and problem formulation, and subsequently identify a specific outcome to focus on. Where clients require additional support you will suggest resources and referral options from our wide range of services. Working within a team of highly trained professionals, you play a key role in supporting individuals who are in need of counselling support in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications / Experience

To be considered for this role you must have a Master degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work (or equivalent). You must have a minimum of 3 years post graduate experience and be registered with a Professional College and/or Counselling Association.

Fluency in both written and spoken English and French is preferred.
